Craig Monroe had 5 hits and 5 RBI at the ballpark as the Lewisville Fire Ants embarrassed the Chainsaw Proctologists by the lopsided score of 16 to 3. Monroe was unconscious out there. While Chainsaw pitching was serving softballs up there for him to hit, the Chainsaw fans were serving up some hardball barbs when he entered the batter's box. But he just used it as fuel for the fire. He belted a three-run homer (his 19th of the season) in the 3rd inning, doubled in the 5th inning, stroked a single in the 6th inning, singled bringing in two baserunners in the 7th inning and banged out a one-base hit in the 9th inning. Lewisville bats were very productive in the 3rd inning with 5 runs on 4 hits and the 6th inning which saw them plate 4 runs on 5 hits. Lewisville dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings. The victory was credited to Victor Zambrano(4-8) who went 8 and 2/3 innings, allowing 3 runs. Cory Lidle(7-14) ended up with the loss. He was knocked around, surrendering 6 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings. 'Actually, I didn't feel that comfortable at the plate today' Monroe said after the game. 'Despite that, I'm happy with the results!
